The Ticket to Ride Europa 1912 expansion for the Ticket to Ride series includes 101 Destination Tickets – the 46 original tickets, plus 55 new ones that enable 3 new variants to the Ticket to Ride Europe map: Europe Expanded, which adds 19 new routes to the original 46; Big Cities of Europe, with tickets to 9 major European cities; and Mega Europe, which uses all the new routes as well as the 46 original Destination Tickets.
Players answer multiple-choice trivia questions of increasing difficulty, with the option of quitting with their winnings up to that point. This adaptation has makeshift versions of the TV show’s “50:50”, “Ask the Audience”, and “Phone a Friend” lifelines. Players rotate as host, and after everyone has taken a turn as host, winnings are totaled.
Carcassonne is a tile-placement game in which the players draw and place a tile with a piece of southern French landscape on it. The tile might feature a city, a road, a cloister, grassland or some combination thereof, and it must be placed adjacent to tiles that have already been played, in such a way that cities are connected to cities, roads to roads, etcetera. Having placed a tile, the player can then decide to place one of their meeples on one of the areas on it: on the city as a knight, on the road as a robber, on a cloister as a monk, or on the grass as a farmer. When that area is complete, that meeple scores points for its owner.
